Js2686@aol.com: I like the facts of life because it is a wholesome show that teaches good morals and it keeps me entertained for a half an hour. And cuz the episodes actually have point to them unlike the Brady Bunch and several episodes of Diff'rent Strokes

acroamanda@aol.com: It's funny and some of the topics I can remember going through myself so its funny to look back and try to relate my experiences with theirs

Js2686@aol.com: I dont think that a show similar to FOL would last today because most teen girls today dont seem anything like the FOL girls were and in today's society they would be sooooo off the image if they were overweight like some of the FOL girls were at times. Most teenage girls today probably wouldn't want to relate to the fat girl on tv when its the image to be slim.

Js2686: It lasted that long because it appealed to the masses. It wasnt loved by critics but it had a sort of cult following and still does today. And overall teenagers could just relate.
